Custom Medals with Your Logo and Ribbon
Custom medals in stamped iron, zinc alloy, wood or acrylic, with a full-colour sublimated polyester ribbon, made from your design. They suit company races and tournaments, convention awards and internal recognition.
The material sets the weight
A 50 mm stamped iron medal weighs around 25-30 grams; a 60-70 mm zinc alloy one weighs between 50 and 80. That weight is what you notice when you pick it up.
The ribbon is what people see most
Polyester 20-25 mm wide and 80-90 cm long, sublimated in full colour with the name of the event. It can change colour by category or team.
Each person's name on the back
The front is the same for everyone, and the back is laser-engraved with each person's name, position or date. You check it in the mock-up before production.
For races, tournaments and internal recognition
The most common use is the company sports event: a charity run or a tournament that ends with an iron medal and sublimated ribbon for every participant. For long-service or project recognition, zinc alloy or acrylic suits better, with the name engraved on the back.
At conventions and hackathons, several zinc alloy medals cost about the same as a single trophy. At trade fairs a medal works better as the prize for a draw or a stand challenge than as a general giveaway, and when it is handed over with a card explaining why it is being given, it stops being something that ends up in a drawer.
Materials, ribbons and marking techniques
Stamped iron, with a gold, silver or bronze finish, carries the logo die-struck in relief or a printed centre, and it is the option for large runs. The resin centre, with digital printing and a domed finish, reproduces gradients and photographs. The 3 mm cast zinc alloy is made with its own mould, electroplated and finished with colour enamel.
Plywood of 3-4 mm is laser-engraved or UV-printed, and 4-5 mm acrylic is laser-cut to the shape you want and printed in full colour. Both are made without a die or mould, which is why they suit short runs. The ribbon is closed with stitching or with a metal clip that lets you change it.
How to choose custom medals
- Material by run size
- For hundreds of units, stamped iron: light and economical in quantity. For short runs, wood or acrylic, which need no die or mould.
- Weight by occasion
- If the medal is handed over in front of the whole team, 60-70 mm zinc alloy with relief and enamel is noticeable in the hand. Increasing the diameter without changing material only makes the piece bigger.
- Technique by logo
- A logo with clean lines looks good die-struck or laser-engraved. If it has gradients or a photograph, choose a resin centre or UV-printed acrylic.
- Ribbon and finish
- If your brand is already on the ribbon, the centre can carry just the year and the occasion, which reads better. For metal, choose gold, silver, bronze, black nickel or antique copper plating.
